Chaparral Girls and Boys this weekend wound up continuing a nice run of State Championships, with a 4th consecutive State Title on the Girls Side and the Boys repeated as State Champs. On Senior day the Chaparral Firebirds Boys and Girls defeated Pinnacle. The Boys won 113-63 and the Girls won 120-60. Chaparral Girl’s and Boy’s on Tuesday competed at the Scottsdale All-District Invite at Cactus Pool. The Chaparral Girl’s and Boy’s dominated the All-District Invite staying undefeated this year. Chaparral Girls Dive team had their first invitational of the season and represented the Firebirds with a lot of success. Sophomore Mia Waters finished 2nd overall, Sophomore Reaney Preston finished 6th, Freshman Bella Posorske finished 8th, and Sophomore Ashlynn Kirsch finished 17th.
